Open Enrollment Is NOW OPEN!
The Gran Fondo Cycling Club hosts open enrollment in the fall for the upcoming year. We are a club generally averaging about 135 in members from year to year. If you enjoy having an affiliation with a large group of enthusiasts with a passion for cycling, you might have some fun with our club. We have a dedicated group of racers sporting the Gran Fondo name at all the local races, and you will see our kits at every century in the area. Our members include some of the fastest riders in the state, some of the strongest triathletes, and a lot of weekend warriors who can tell you where to find the best coffees and vistas 'round here.
Our only requirement for membership is that you must love bikes and Gran Fondo; if you have those things in place, then everything else will settle in just fine. Read below to get the details on the club:

Team Clothing Order: It's time to shake it up!!
The 2012 team clothing will be changing dramatically from the style of the 2007 to 2011 red/black/white theme. We are still finalizing our design with our graphic artist, but we should have a sketch in store by 11/11/11.
All custom pieces will continue to be by Louis Garneau as we have found their quality and durability to be unmatched, particularly from a cost/benefit standpoint. As always, the team/club clothing is designed to mix well with our standard custom "shop" clothing or in line Louis Garneau product. You can touch, feel and try on similar pieces in the shop, or if you have sizing questions - just ask Lynn, as he knows your size in addition to your seat height!
Clothing orders should be submitted on the 2012 Registration form below. As always, clothing orders must be paid in full up front, cash or check. We will be glad to run a card for you for a $5.00 flat fee. Remember, we really don't have any profit in these...
Orders are due by Monday, December 12th. Clothing will arrive in February. This is your only opportunity to order this clothing throughout the year and we will not be ordering any extra pieces.
Please print the file below and complete the sign up/ clothing order form, or stop by the shop to complete your copy. Please do not e-mail your forms in scanned or file form. We don't have the organizational desire to keep up with too much automation - after all, this is a bike shop and we had rather see you!
Our shop team on the line at the Gran Fondo gran fondo.

You'll see this banner around at all kinds of fun events _ Hope on Wheels, Tour de Nash, Harpeth River Ride, and even the Gran Fondo gran fondo (no typo intended).

Wally, shown above on his birthday, has been a member of our club every year since its inception in 2003. Wally has been a leader in the careful organization of the Gran Fondo Saturday afternoon happy hour, scheduled informally when Wally's wife Mary sends him from the house every once in a while. Wally also volunteers for most of our events, critiques our route maps, helps us mark our courses for scores of events, and guides us in finding joy in our bike shop.
