On the top end of the Specialized Roubaix line up at Gran Fondo Cycles we love the Roubaix SL3 with mechanical or digital Ultegra. Let Lynn walk you through this awesome bike and show you what digital shifting can do.
The Bianchi Impulso is a new offering for 2012 from Bianchi. We love the great stylings of this aluminum frame.
We love that Bianchi steps out and brings riders a real race frame at an incredibly affordable price with the Bianchi Sempre.
At Gran Fondo Cycles we love to sell titanium, the Lynskey Helix in particular. Let Lynn walk you through the reasons we love this classic build.
We pride ourselves in allowing a buyer to be able to compare a number of options within a price range. The breadth of the Specialized Roubaix line up is a great place to see our investment in a full inventory and what it means to a buyer.
We have anxiously awaited the arrival of the 2012 Bronze Level Orca. Orbea will now have an entry-level price point in their most popular model, the ORCA.
At Gran Fondo Cycles, we know that women deserve to have the best new technology options right along side our men customers. This short video lets Lynn walk you through the newly arrived Specialized Women's Amira with digital Ultegra.
At Gran Fondo Cycles, we are all about equal opportunity for women. Don't find yourself in any shop who doesn't offer you a variety of brands, price ranges, styles and full ranges of sizes in women's specific bikes.
At Gran Fondo Cycles we've been selling a lot of digital shifting, but we are particularly excited about the sleek elegance of Parlee's integrated cable routing with the Z5 SLI.
Garmin Makes the World Go Round, or just lets you know where you are as it spins...
Dream bikes should be about exactly what is important to you! Check out this Di2 titanium Guru Praemio.
Not only does Gran Fondo have the hottest new thing with digital shifting, but we can give you lots of choices! We have three of our major brands’ digital offerings in stock on the floor - Orbea, Bianchi and Specialized.
Orbea's Orca has been a top selling carbon frame in our store since 2005. We've loved the first Orca and proudly watched its evolution to be one of the premier carbon frames in the highend market.
We've been selling Bianchi's classic steel bikes since we opened in 2002. The enduring classic is the most bike for your money in the sub $2,000 bracket.
Here's a line up of great women's bikes that you might not see anywhere else in the Southeast - if you are a woman who wants to find the perfect bike for you - come see us!
The Bianchi Sempre is a real shop favorite for 2012. We always love to see a high quality, high performance frame that can be offered in a range of builds, making the budget conscious buyer able to ride the same quality frameset as the pros.
Shimano's digital shifting has now been out for long enough to have the kinks worked out and a majority of the pro peleton riding these groups to garner the advantage that effortless, perfectly smooth shifting can provide. We realized a lot of people just aren't sure what this animal really looks like and why it is so special.
Let's debate the pros and cons of the Apex VS 105 groups! The best group isn't the same for everyone; let us find the righjt one for you!
Which bike manufacturer has the oldest and most distinguished history? Bianchi, of course! Think of the number of first time buyers who have ridden Bianchi since 1885.
Style, performance, versatility... Women want it all in a high end bike and the Orca Dama delivers!
The Specialized Ruby has been a super women's specific bike for several years, but we think the super smart changes for 2012 will make this one of our number one recommendations for the discerning woman buyer.
Bianchi's new model the Infinito has raised the bar for the comfortable riding endurance bikes - now you can ride all day but still feel the power when you stomp on the pedals!!
When we talk about premium carbon fiber, just what are the things we are looking for?
Why consider steel in this day and age?
Check out the video below as Lynn walks you through a Gran Fondo Cycles favorite, the titanium Lynskey Cooper. We love this made in Tennessee frame because it gives customers an economical way to experience the superior qualities of titanium.
The Specialized Dolce Elite is a great women's specific starter bike. This bike has great looks, but more than that - it has a great spec for the money. We love the use of the SRAM Apex group, offering a wider range of gearing than a triple in a compact set up. Hitting a price point of $1,350, this bike is smart!
To know Pegoretti is to appreciate all things cool about steel, Italian composition, life and art...
Yes, this bike's got a ticket to ride and she don't care - she won't pay any additional fee to be a precious checked bag on any airline. When she arrives at her destination, she is easily reassembled and still the best looking bike there. Factor in no worries about scratches in her paint job and you couldn't find a better travel companion.
Are all carbon bikes created equally? No, carbon bikes aren't like men at all.
Well, every once in a while, I have to break out the pen and craft a bike review to justify being the woman test rider at Gran Fondo. It’s a small price to pay for having a steady stream of new bicycles to ride.
Orbea revamps its line-up for 2011 with two levels of the new Orca - Silver and Gold. The Orca Silver is now in stock!

You'll never sell this bike.
As the owner of the most beautiful custom Lynskey Helix, it is time for me to blog away about my fantastic new bicycle. I wanted to make sure that I bonded with my new eye candy straightaway, so I proceeded to put 500 miles on this bicycle in the first 10 days I owned it.
The bike is perfect, and I think it captures a lot of what we try to do at Gran Fondo.
