and she don't care -

She won't pay any additional fee to be a precious checked bag on any airline. This custom little Moots Compact comes complete with her own custom travel bag, an easily managed size in even the most crowded of airports. You won't see this case sliding off a luggage cart as you negotiate a long customs queue. You also won't have to wince in pain as some airline security clerk opens up this baby and starts trying to cram your wheelset back in the case, threatening to send you to timeout if you reach across the yellow line to assist.

When Little Moots arrives at her destination, she is easily reassembled and still the best looking bike there. Factor in no worries about scratches in her paint job and you couldn't find a better travel companion. Did the couplers cost you on the weight front? No, it's neglible - this little gal weighs in at 17lbs, with cages and pedals.

So technically what are we talking about here? An  S and S Coupling™ also known as a  Bicycle Torque Coupling™ or  BTC™, is a precision lug that is installed in a bicycle frame when it's manufactured to allow it to  separate and pack for easy transportation. With this system, a full size road bike will fit completely inside a single  26" x 26" x 10" case that travels as regular airline luggage. A bicycle manufactured with this system is ultra strong yet lightweight (two BTCs™ add only 8 oz. total to a typical road bike) and it feels exactly the same as a bicycle built without BTCs™. There is no added frame flex and the BTC™  is absolutely silent!
