Gran Fondo Cycles is proud to be the bike shop supporting the Nashville Team in Training group of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Team in Training is a program successfully organized and run by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America which combines training and fundraising for marathons, centuries and triathlons, giving meaning to the miles. This program combines training and support to see committed participants to the finish line by using qualified coaches, a mentoring system, training schedules and group workouts. Shop co-owner Lynn Greer has been a Team in Training coach for over seven years and has trained hundreds of first time century riders. You might see a large group of Team in Training volunteers pulling out of the store parking lot on any given weekend for their group training rides. "Our group rides for Team in Training are lots of fun. Our group always amazes themselves in their growth from struggling with a 25 mile flat ride in the beginning to the completion of an 80 to 90 mile ride pre-event over the hilliest course I can devise. Watching people meet and surpass their goals is the best part of this job," according to Lynn. Past participants in the program generally know the schedule and often show up on an impromptu

Gran Fondo recognizes the importance of having each participant's bike shipped in a safe and dependable manner for the centuries across the country.
