“I felt good coming out of New Zealand and Australia,” where she raced earlier in the season with the U.S. National Team, and “I was hoping that my fitness was still there. I just knew I could ride hard, and it ended up being a good day.”

Many of you may know that our favorite women's professional cyclist Katharine Carroll is currently riding with the US National Team. The women representing the United States of America began their 2008 travels with a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Katharine is representing the United States well, as she has taken the Sprint jersey for the tour of New Zealand.
